Wolf’s Lair

Wolf’s Lair
Convinced of a Soviet defeat at the hands of the German invading army, Adolf Hitler moved from Berlin to his new field headquarters in Rastenburg, East Prussia, in June 1941. The Fuhrer called the new headquarters the “Wolf’s Lair,” a reference to his nickname in the 1920s.
